4M Green Science Windmill Generator

4M Green Science Windmill Generator: Turn Wind into Light, Ages 8+

How can moving air make a light glow? Build your own windmill and see it happen. The 4M Green Science Windmill Generator lets curious kids explore renewable energy by assembling a working model that harnesses wind power to light an LED. Add a recycled soft drink bottle, follow the instructions and watch for that first glow.

What's Inside

• Components to build an approximately 12.7 cm (5-inch) windmill generator with an LED light.
• Detailed assembly instructions.
• A pamphlet with facts about renewable energy.

Why Kids (and Parents) Love It

• Make an energy concept visible: the LED shows wind power being converted into electricity.
• Build before you experiment: assembling the model gives kids a hands-on way to explore how a wind generator works.
• Put a used bottle to work: a recycled soft drink bottle becomes part of the project.
• Keep the questions coming: the included renewable energy facts give families more to discuss after the build.

Good to Know Before You Buy

• Recommended for ages 8 years and up.
• A recycled soft drink bottle is required and is not included.
• This is a build-it-yourself science kit, not a pre-assembled windmill.
• The LED is powered by wind, so airflow is needed to demonstrate it.
